We are working towards a new law on geological data, which, in line with the principles of open science, will provide for open access to interpreted data.
Digital transformation aims to organise all existing data and results and to ensure that new data and other information is collected in a systematic way. We want to manage them in a way that best serves the Institute's professional, scientific and project activities.
We are focused on the display and use of 3D and 4D models of geological structures and processes. We are committed to following the principles of open science and making data as publicly available as possible. We achieve digital transformation of content through good internal organisation of application and computing infrastructure.
Strategic objectives
1. Information support for GeoZS research activities.
2. Systematic collection, processing, compilation and interpretation of data.
3. Introduce 3D modelling and data visualisation.

Activities
To achieve our strategic objectives, we are implementing the following activities:
- We are bringing information support closer to researchers.
- We are developing the application and computing infrastructure.
- We are creating a single data model for thematic geological data.
- We are building on the principles of open science and open access to publicly available data.
- We develop 3D methodology and data models.
