Vacancy for an Applications Programmer VII/2 (II) (DM code H097123) is hereby vacant at OE Geological Information Centre - application infrastructure.

In addition to the general conditions laid down in the labour law rules, candidates applying for a vacancy must fulfil the following conditions:

• at least a specialisation in higher education (previous) or at least a university degree (previous) or at least a master's degree (second Bologna cycle)

Job description:

• Work as assigned by the project manager.
• Developing and maintaining software applications.
• Server administration.
• Archiving systems and applications.
• Carrying out work on projects independently.
• Works under the direction of the Project Manager.
• Other work as assigned by the head of unit or the Director.

Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge and experience:

• Application development in C# (.NET / .Net Core) and Python (Flask).
• Knowledge of the React/Next.js or AngularJS frontend framework.
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Work with PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL.
• Designing data schemas and writing SQL queries, procedures.
• Experience with versioning tools (Git, GitLab / GitHub)
• Knowledge of Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluency in Slovenian and English.
• Motivation to improve your knowledge.
• Ability to work in an international team.

The successful candidate will be offered a permanent, full-time contract with a probationary period of 3 months.
