Description of equipment
Extremely powerful and compact FRITSCH jaw crusher PULVERISETTE 1 with a drive power of up to 3 kW, it delivers extremely high throughput and is the ideal instrument for fast and efficient primary crushing. Operation: the sample is crushed vigorously in the jaw crusher under high pressure between one fixed and one movable crushing jaw in a closed chamber. It allows for the grinding of hard or very hard, brittle materials up to the hardest iron alloys! The freely accessible crushing chamber and the smooth surfaces in the crushing chamber allow easy cleaning and prevent sample cross-contamination. A Plexiglas cover allows visual inspection of the crushing chamber and monitoring of the action. The slit, which determines the final granularity of the sample, can be determined externally with millimetre precision.

FRITSCH disc mill PULVERISETTE 13 is used for efficient fine grinding of hard and medium hard materials. It is ideal for crushing medium sized particles in mining and metallurgy, ceramics, rock and soil, glass, soil exploration. The filling can be batch or continuous. In a disc mill, the material is crushed under pressure and sheared between two opposing grinding discs. Due to the specially shaped teeth on the disc, the material is automatically fed through a pre-adjustable slot for the grain size of the output grinding and falls into a collection drawer. The desired final grit size can be set by simply digitally adjusting the width of the slot in 0.05 mm increments. Cleaning is made easy by the removable infeed hopper and the smooth surfaces of the grinding chamber, while the sealing of the grinding chamber provides further protection against contamination or sample loss. Grinding is dust-free thanks to the special exhaust system and the sealing of the drawer.

The connection system between the PULVERISETTE 1 and the PULVERISETTE 13 consists of a custom-built feeder carrier that links the two machines into a single, compact and powerful shredding system:

- suitable for small batch shredding;
