V okviru projekta CONCORDIA (Interreg VI-A Italy–Slovenia 2021–2027) we participated in a workshop held in Pušja vas (Venzone) and Portis Vecchio. Through field visits and practical demonstrations, we deepened our understanding of seismic and geological hazards, emergency management, and post-earthquake reconstruction. The program included presentations on seismic hazard and landslides, modern methods for rapid damage assessment, and a tour of the successful reconstruction of Pušja vas following the 1976 Friuli earthquake. The event made a significant contribution to strengthening cooperation between Slovenian and Italian institutions and to the development of joint approaches for reducing earthquake risk in the cross-border region.
