As part of the Bogataj Days of Civil Protection and Rescue, which took place in Nova Gorica from May 21 to 23, 2026, an expert workshop was held on assessing damage caused by natural disasters and the effects of earthquakes. At the conference, experts Dr. Tina Peternel and Špela Kumelj from GeoZS, along with Rudolf Golob from the Slovenian Civil Protection and Rescue Administration, presented the latest developments in the MASPREM project and an upgrade to the ePlaz application, which serve as the central national system for data collection, hazard modeling, and the timely issuance of landslide warnings in Slovenia.
