Vacancy: Senior Adviser, Area III, Groundwater and Hydrogeology OE
A vacancy for a Senior Adviser III (DM code H027028) is hereby advertised at the following address OE Groundwater and hydrogeology.
In addition to the general conditions laid down in the labour law rules, candidates applying for a vacancy must fulfil the following conditions:
- at least a specialisation in higher education (previous) or at least a university degree (previous) or at least a master's degree (second Bologna cycle)
Job description:
- Independent performance of professional work and organisation of project work in the OE
- Acquiring, managing and implementing medium complexity projects
- Producing reports, maintaining records, databases
- Data collection, compilation, analysis and interpretation
- Monitoring the development of the field
- Work in the laboratory, in the field and underground if necessary
- Work as directed by the project manager
- Other work as assigned by the Head of Unit or the Director
Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge and experience:
- with education chemistry,
- knowledge of environmental topics (environmental legislation for IED plants and landfills, processes and data processing of geogenic components and anthropogenic pollutants, laboratory analysis of inorganic and organic substances, QA/QC and ISO laboratory standards),
- with the ability to work independently
- with well-developed communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team,
- a willingness to undertake occasional field work,
- with a good knowledge of English,
- with a category B driving licence.
The successful candidate will be offered a contract for a fixed period of 1 year, renewable indefinitely, with a probationary period of 4 months.
