A decade ago, Minerals in Your Life revealed how minerals shape our everyday lives - from phones to medicines. Today, in a world rushing towards a green transformation, the forthcoming second edition highlights the need for sustainable mineral sourcing.

The new edition, published by EuroGeoSurveys, the association of European Geological Surveys, was launched on 20 May 2025 at the Xcentrum in Nova Gorica. The event offered an inspiring evening of debate on the crucial role of raw materials in modern society, in a symbolic place - a cross-border European Capital of Culture, which, like geology, transcends borders.
