In order to inform and involve all relevant stakeholders, GeoZS organised a consultation within the framework of the preparation of the National Research Programme for Critical Mineral Resources (NRP), which was attended by more than 80 representatives from business, industry, research and educational institutions, NGOs and decision makers at national and local level. The consultation was organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Spatial Planning (MNRSP) and the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). At the event, we presented the purpose, objectives and proposed key components of the NRP, discussed outstanding issues in exploration and supply of critical minerals, and gathered valuable feedback that will be an important input to the drafting of the NRP.
