The new national Knowledge Transfer Slovenia/Knowledge Transfer Slovenia (KTS) platform connects the knowledge transfer offices of three Slovenian universities and ten research institutes, and for the first time offers a single entry point for companies looking for solutions, technologies or partnerships with academia. It is designed as a digital hub, enabling a shorter and simpler path from idea to innovation, as well as faster commercialisation of knowledge and transfer of research results into practice.

The objective of the platform, which is co-financed by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) within the framework of the Public Call for Proposals to support the activities of Knowledge Transfer Offices, is to link research organisations more effectively with the economy, to foster the development of new technologies, and to strengthen Slovenia's innovation potential.
