From 24 to 29 March, Bovec hosted the international scientific meeting of the DOVE Task Force and the AGAQ Working Group, which brings together researchers in Quaternary science in the Alpine foothills. A group of top scientists discussed the progress and challenges of Quaternary geology and developed new research approaches. The meeting included a three-day excursion through the Bovec Basin, the Soča Valley and the Karst.
