GeoZS hosted the LandAware International Workshop "Science and Practice in Landslide Warning Systems" from 17 to 19 September 2025. The focus of the workshop was on Slovenian examples of landslide management, in particular measures before and after the 2023 storm, as well as monitoring in the hinterland of the Koroška Bela, which was visited by the participants during a study tour. LandAware is an international non-governmental association of researchers and experts working on the design and development of landslide warning systems. The workshop was attended by 40 experts from all over the world working in this field.
