From 15 to 20 September 2025, Ljubljana hosted ASMOSIA XIV, bringing together 274 authors from 28 countries. Organised by the Department of Archaeology at the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Arts, GeoZS, the Museum and Galleries of Ljubljana, the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia, the Slovenian Archaeological Society and the Slovenian Geological Society, the event offered a varied programme of 69 lectures and 58 posters, as well as a rich cultural programme, including a tour of the Roman Emona, archaeological collections, a geological walk around Ljubljana, a visit to the restoration centre and a traditional Slovenian dinner. The programme also included lectures by our researchers Dr Rok Brajkovič and Dr Snježana Miletič, and a geological walking tour of Ljubljana by Dr Matevž Novak.
