Our researcher, Dr. Tea Kolar Jurkovšek, was on a research visit to China. At the invitation of Dr. Gui Chun Wu from Institute of Geology, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences held working meetings in Beijing on the topic of conodontology. In collaboration with conodontologists from various Chinese research institutions (Beijing, Wuhan, Xi’an), the focus was on the exchange of knowledge, the comparison of research approaches, and opportunities for continued joint research. As part of her visit, she gave two lectures, namely Dinarides – Triassic conodont zonation subsurface Paleoart – An artistic complement to paleontological research. The latter was also connected with the presentation of the book *Images of the Geological Past*. The book is available for order here.
