At the 13th Slovenian Development Days, under the theme "The Economy for Global Solidarity", participants highlighted the key role of the economy in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and providing humanitarian assistance.

Part of the program took place on October 17, 2025, at the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce. During the panel discussion titled “Global Gateway: Innovative Mechanisms for Engaging the Private Sector in Development Efforts – Internationalization of Slovenian Companies in Developing Countries,” Dr. Slavko Vekoslav Šolar, a research associate at GeoZS, participated by presenting the Uganda Country Window project, which we coordinate as part of the PanAfGeo+ initiative.
