Od 15. do 16. aprila 2025 je na GeoZS potekal sestanek konzorcija za geoinformacije v Srednji Evropi (CE-GIC – Central European Geoscience Information Consortium), ki združuje geološke zavode srednje Evrope z namenom sodelovanja na področju upravljanja geoloških podatkov in razvoja informacijskih sistemov.

Participants from the geological surveys of Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and Slovenia exchanged knowledge and experience in their fields:

• geoinformatics and data infrastructure
• application programming in geology
• standardisation and access to geological information

The event reaffirmed the importance of international cooperation in developing effective solutions for the use and sharing of geological data.
