At the end of March, the MARGIN project, which focuses on sustainable groundwater management in Alpine cities, held a partnership meeting in Vienna. The main focus of the meeting was on the analysis of questionnaires filled in by the inhabitants of the pilot cities, which showed the differences between the cities and revealed the challenges they face in managing groundwater. We also saw a demonstration of biological borehole sampling, which will soon be implemented in Ljubljana in cooperation with the National Institute of Biology.
