At the 13th Slovenian Development Days, under the theme "The Economy for Global Solidarity", participants highlighted the key role of the economy in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and providing humanitarian assistance.

Part of the programme took place on 17 October 2025 at the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The panel "Global Gateway: Innovative Mechanisms for Private Sector Engagement in Development Efforts - Internationalisation of Slovenian Enterprises in Developing Countries" featured a presentation of the Uganda Country Window project, coordinated by the PanAfGeo+ Initiative, by GeoZS Research Fellow Dr Slavko Vekoslav Šolar.
