At 4th International Interdisciplinary Conference on Mineral and Thermal Waters (MinWat2025)which took place in Denizli, Turkey, from 3 to 5 November, was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nina Rman Elected Chair of the Commission on Mineral and Thermal Waters (CMTW) of the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH).

CMTW is one of the oldest thematic associations within IAH, having been active since 1968. Its mission is to bring together mineral and thermal water researchers worldwide and to promote the exchange of knowledge and good practice in this field.

Kaja Šušmelj from the Department of Geology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, University of Ljubljana, joined the Commission, strengthening the international role of Slovenian experts in the field of research on specific types of groundwater.
