Geologija is the main Slovenian geological scientific journal. It has been published since 1953 and has an international editorial board. It features contributions from national and international researchers. Articles cover regional geology, stratigraphy, palaeontology, sedimentology, petrology, mineralogy, mineral resources, geophysics, hydrogeology, environmental protection, geochemistry, geohazards, seismology, geoinformation, and other geosciences.

Geologija is published twice a year and has open access to the content of the articles.
