Geologija is the main Slovenian geological scientific journal. It has been published since 1953 and has an international editorial board. It is published by national and international researchers. Contributions cover regional geology, stratigraphy, palaeontology, sedimentology, petrology, mineralogy, mineral resources, geophysics, hydrogeology, environmental protection and geochemistry, geohazards, seismology, geoinformation and other geosciences.

Geology is published twice a year and has open access to the content of the articles.
