Properties of Oligocene and Miocene volcaniclastic rocks and determination of source magma
Research on volcanoclastic rocks is key to understanding geological processes, the palaeoenvironment and palaeogeographic change. Their properties are the basis for further research in hydrogeology, geothermal, civil engineering, agriculture and mineral exploitation. The aim of this PhD thesis is to determine the similarities between Palaeogene and Neogene volcanoclastic rocks and to compare them with similar rocks from a wider region (Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Italy) and to relate them to the original volcanic activity.
