Lecture The importance of topography-driven groundwater flow in alpine areas: a case study from the Julian Alps in Slovenia, 14 January 2026
As part of the lecture series IAH-RGFC The second lecture of the Lecture Series was given by Dr Luka Serianz. The lecture, entitled The importance of topography-driven groundwater flow in alpine areas: a case study from the Julian Alps, Slovenia presented the role of topography in groundwater movement in alpine environments and the results of a case study from the Julian Alps. The event was organised in the framework of the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH), which is dedicated to the study of regional groundwater flows and organises expert lectures and knowledge exchange in this field.
