Dr Mateja Jemec Auflič, Research Associate at GeoZS, participated in the Consultation on the use of satellite services for disaster risk management, organised by EUSPA in cooperation with Eurisy, a European network dedicated to promoting the use of space technologies and satellite data in society, and the Slovenian Space Office within the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport. She presented experiences and integration of satellite technology in landslide management and presented challenges and opportunities to improve the availability of satellite data in Slovenia.
