New features on the eGeology portal, June 2025
Web portal eGeologija aims to improve the availability of geological data. It facilitates one-stop access to a wide range of different geological data, map products and related metadata from different sources.
The data is accessible using modern information technologies and services. With various viewers, web services, data catalogues, reports and articles, they represent the basic data infrastructure for GeoZS geological data. Users can download the data into their own environment for further use. The portal provides free access to more than 500 different data sources, namely 12 viewers, 47 different maps, 268 articles, 30 web services and 189 databases. The main fields are hydrogeology, geochemistry, geothermics, geophysics, mineral resources, engineering geology, regional geology, geohazards.
