Accessibility

The Geological Survey of Slovenia undertakes to make the website accessible geo-zs.si in accordance with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Apps to All Users Act.

Declaration of accessibility

This accessibility statement applies to the website geo-zs.si.

To ensure accessibility requirements, some systemic adjustments have been provided, such as:

  • Responsive design (adapting the layout of content to the screen resolution),
  • keyboard navigation (adaptation for users who cannot use a mouse),
  • predictable website performance,
  • different levels of addresses can be used,
  • adjust font size, spacing,
  • adjust contrast, colours,
  • text magnifier,
  • tagging of headings and links.

Level of compliance

Website geo-zs.si currently partially complies with the requirements of the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Apps Act. A complete website overhaul, including accessibility, will be carried out this year.

Inaccessible content

Current website availability geo-zs.si is not fully guaranteed. In 2023, we are upgrading to ensure accessibility. However, some content will still not meet all accessibility requirements.

Examples of such content include:

  • PDF documents (publications, cartographic material),
  • fully designed online forms,
  • online spatial data viewers,
  • a catalogue of spatial data.

Any adaptations would be disproportionately burdensome, as documents, publications and cartographic material can also contain a very large number of complex graphical elements. In future, when major changes are made to the system, we will ensure that they are adapted as far as possible to vulnerable groups.

Preparation of an accessibility statement

  • This declaration was prepared on 20 April 2023 on the basis of a self-assessment.
  • The declaration was last reviewed on 4 May 2023.
