At the Semič Museum House we explored the mysteries beneath our feet. Our colleague Dr. Rok Brajkovič guided visitors through the collection of Nature of the White Landscape and held a workshop entitled Geopestrost of the White Landscape. Participants learnt about the building blocks of the Belokranj landscape: the diverse rocks and fossils, the dynamics of underground water, the karst formations on the surface and in the underground. We concluded the tour with a joint reflection on why preserving the geo-pasture is crucial for our future.
