On the occasion of the European Raw Materials Week in Brussels, the importance of a common geological service for Europe was highlighted to ensure Europe's resilience in the sustainable provision of critical raw materials. Representatives of the GeoZS also participated. Dr Slavko Šolar presented the Critical Mineral Resources Regulation (CRMA) and the part relating to the United Nations Framework Classification for Resources (UNFC), Dr. Meta Dobnikar and Snježana Miletić presented the European Centre of Excellence for Mineral Resources (EU ICE SRM), which is being established under the Geological Survey for Europe (GSEU) project, and the "Train the Trainer" programme to support the implementation of the CRMA at national level.
