Dr Rok Brajkovič became a regular member of the Commission on Geoscience Education at the International Union of Geological Sciences (IUGS COGE).

Rok is a researcher at GeoZS, active in the fields of sedimentology, archaeometry and geoscience education. He has gained his extensive experience as a project manager and educator, leading innovative initiatives such as BetterGeoEdu and RM@Schools - programmes that bring geology to life in classrooms across Europe.

He is actively involved in science communication, citizen science projects and curriculum development. His creative and academic contributions - including the use of digital tools and even video games to teach geology - reflect the COGE's mission to foster inclusive, engaging, and modern Earth science education worldwide.
