The GeoZS is responsible for the preparation of Proposals for a national programme for the general exploration of critical raw materials and carrier minerals for critical raw materials (hereafter: NRP), to be prepared by all Member States by May 2025, in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation establishing a framework for ensuring a secure and sustainable supply of critical raw materials.

As part of the preparation of the draft NRP, we held our first consultation on 16 January 2025 and, in cooperation with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Spatial Planning (MNVP) and the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS), we are organising Second consultation on the preparation of the NRP with the aim of informing and involving all relevant stakeholders, which will be Tuesday, 8 April 2025 at 10:00, at the premises of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hall C, 1st floor, Dimičeva ulica 13, Ljubljana.

You are cordially invited to attend the second consultation, where we will present the draft NRP proposal, the new developments in its preparation and the reactions from the first consultation, and open the debate on exploration and supply of critical minerals.
