Event: Geochemical properties of water and sediments of the Mura River

At the end of November, GeoZS held an expert event in Radenci within the MURmap project entitled "Geochemical properties of water and sediments of the Mura River, with a focus on modern pollutants", which was attended by 25 participants - project partners, guests and various stakeholders. The main results of the project, which GeoZS is leading together with the Montanist University of Leoben and the Institute of Chemistry, and some other related projects dealing with the Mura River were presented at the event. Partners from the Slovenian Institute for Nature Conservation, Maribor Regional Unit, also participated in the event. Visitors to the event also had the opportunity to see the research equipment used in the project and other tools used by geologists and chemists in their work. The event was also an excellent opportunity to talk to researchers and network.
