More than 150 5th grade pupils from Stična Primary School, Višnja Gora Branch School and Zagradec Primary School started the school year with an outdoor school in Terme Čatež, where they explored the geological world through three interesting workshops.In the framework of painting with natural colours, they got to know different rocks and minerals suitable for pigments and explored their formation through movement and narration, as well as some of the important concepts of this process, such as crystallisation, sedimentation, lithification and metamorphosis. An educational and experimental workshop was held to learn about the water cycle by measuring the temperature of water from a geothermal borehole and analysing the pH of different waters using a dye.
