6 October is International Geopesture Day. This year, we marked it with a roundtable on "Geology at school and teaching about geoenvironment". The event took place at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering of UL with the support of the Slovenian National Commission for UNESCO and GeoZS.

At a local event on the occasion of Geoprospecting Day in Tržič, Dr Klemen Teran presented the new Warning Map of the probability of occurrence of landslides and hillslides in the Tržič municipality.
