At the end of October, GeoZS representatives attended the second Danube GeoHeCo partners' meeting in Hungary. In addition to presentations and coordination of project activities, they also visited a good practice example of geothermal energy use in the city of Nagyatád, which has established district heating with waste thermal water for five public buildings in 2023 through energy renovation.

At the beginning of December, in cooperation with the Local Energy Agency for Pomurje, we held a kick-off meeting for potential stakeholders in Martjanci. The meeting was aimed at presenting the project activities and the possibilities to involve stakeholders in the process of planning and implementation of sustainable solutions for the exploitation of shallow geothermal energy in Slovenia (Pomurje).
