On 17 July 2025, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia adopted Regulation 2024/1252/EU, in accordance with National Research Programme on Critical Minerals and their Carriers for Slovenia (NRP).

The expert basis for the preparation of the NRP, presented at two stakeholder consultations, and the draft NRP, coordinated with the relevant ministries, were prepared by the GeoZS.
