The monograph was written by 32 local experts from all research institutions dealing with geology in Slovenia. In twelve chapters, the geology of Slovenia is comprehensively presented in more than 600 pages, graphically illustrated with more than 500 colour photographs, maps and tables, and with an extensive bibliographical survey of more than 2,500 bibliographic references.
