Content<\/strong><\/p>\n Co-funded by the European Union, RAMP is a global partnership designed to facilitate transnational research and innovation in the field of raw materials.<\/p>\n RAMP\u2019s funded projects and partnership-level activities will cover the value chains of various metals and minerals, industrial and battery materials, and construction materials, including those deemed critical or strategic.<\/p>\n RAMP\u2019s long-term vision is to help ensure a sustainable and resilient supply of raw materials, facilitate efficient design and production, and promote socially and environmentally responsible use.<\/p>\n To achieve this vision, RAMP is pursuing the following strategic goals:<\/p>\n Build a strong, international research and innovation ecosystem focused on raw materials<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Support the entire value chain\u2014from exploration to recycling<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Strengthen Europe\u2019s strategic autonomy and industrial resilience<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Promote circular, sustainable, and policy-relevant innovation<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n RAMP will coordinate national\/regional and European funding and work closely with academia, industry, policymakers, government agencies, and NGOs to achieve these goals.<\/p>\n RAMP will launch seven transnational calls and implement a range of additional (partnership-level) activities over the next decade. The calls and additional activities will be organized around six themes as described in the RAMP Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda (SRIA). The themes include three core themes focusing on the supply of raw materials, design and production, and the use and reuse of products, as well as three cross-cutting themes focusing on policy, sustainability, and skills development. RAMP strongly encourages interdisciplinarity and, in particular, the integration of the social sciences.
