The aim of the doctoral study is to investigate how the morphology and functionality of P1 elements and the diet of conodont species <\/span>Pseudofurnishius murcianus<\/span><\/i> have changed in space and time. The main objectives of the doctoral thesis are: 1) to define the morphological differences between P1 elements of the species <\/span>P. murcianus<\/span><\/i> with the aim of connecting these differences with the palaeoecological parameters, 2) to interpret the use of the conodont element P1 or its role within the conodont apparatus and 3) to determine if the diet of conodont animal changed during the ontogenetic stages.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
