The purpose of proposed activities is to achieve ambitious EU energy and climate targets by 2030 and consequently 2050. The project will foster the integration of shallow geothermal solutions into existing fossil-fuel based domestic heating and cooling (HC) systems, raise awareness and enhance capacities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\" dir=\"ltr\">In the first step of the project, the project consortium is developing a decision support toolbox for assessment and assistance in decision making and designing process of shallow geothermal hybrid heating and cooling systems. Furthermore, an elaboration of a community-led planning approach in sustainable utilization of shallow geothermal hybrid heating and cooling potential in the Danube region to support and encourage future local and regional actions and initiatives is planned. In the last step of the project, a web-based digital platform with an in-built virtual marketplace for networking, future collaboration and knowledge sharing on fostering the successful implementation of shallow geothermal hybrid heating and cooling systems will be created.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\" dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Lead partner:<\/strong> Medjimurje Energy Agency Ltd.
