Razumevanje njihovega obna\u0161anja v razli\u010dnih hidrolo\u0161kih pogojih je klju\u010dno za u\u010dinkovito upravljanje teh vodnih virov. V opisani \u0161tudiji smo preu\u010devali povezavo med hidrolo\u0161kim delovanjem kra\u0161kih vodonosnih sistemov in geomorfolo\u0161kimi zna\u010dilnostmi njihovih napajalnih zaledij. Analizirali smo \u010dasovne nize pretoka iz 15 kra\u0161kih izvirov in njihovih povodij v Sloveniji. Z analizo recesijskih krivulj hidrogramov smo dolo\u010dili 11 klju\u010dnih hidrolo\u0161kih parametrov, ki opisujejo delovanje vodonosnega sistema. S prostorsko obdelavo morfolo\u0161kih, geolo\u0161kih in hidrolo\u0161kih podatkov smo dolo\u010dili 7 zdru\u017eenih geomorfolo\u0161kih zna\u010dilnosti povodij. Te zna\u010dilnosti (neodvisne spremenljivke) in klju\u010dne hidrolo\u0161ke parametre (odvisne spremenljivke) smo uporabili v modelu random forest. Z analizo vpliva spremenljivk smo ugotovili, da so povr\u0161ina, gostota kra\u0161kih jam in naklon pobo\u010dja najpomembnej\u0161i geomorfolo\u0161ki parametri zaledja za napovedovanje hidrolo\u0161kih zna\u010dilnosti pretoka kra\u0161kega izvira.
