The research focused on the Himalayan Tetida area in the upper Kali Gandaki basin. The objective of the research was to carry out biostratigraphical, sedimentological and structural analyses, and in parallel, Triassic strata were sampled for conodont studies, which are being carried out as part of the Regional Geology research programme.<\/p> <p>In collaboration with students and professors, Dr Kolar Jurkov\u0161ek also conducted a 10-day workshop at Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu on conodonts, early vertebrates whose fossil teeth are key to determining the age of Palaeozoic and Triassic rocks.
