Oprema je namenjena raziskovanju organske snovi (premogi, kerogen, organsko bogate kamnine). Spektrofotometer slu\u017ei nadalje za dolo\u010danje sestavin v organski snovi, ki fluorescirajo. Te sestavine so ostanki alg, spor, peloda, kutikul, plut, smol in voskov. V premogih so podrejene, obogatene pa so v organski snovi izvornih kamnin za nastanek ogljikovodikov, predvsem nafte. S skupnim imenom jih imenujemo kerogen I in kerogen II. Kamnin, ki vsebujejo organsko snov s kerogenom I in\/ali II, je v svetu veliko, tudi pri nas jih poznamo v razli\u010dnih stratigrafskih enotah. So \u010drne, nastale v morskih okoljih, lahko so nosilke raznih geokemi\u010dnih anomalij ali celo orudenj. Nekatere, tudi pri nas znane, so povi\u0161ano radioaktivne. Iz razli\u010dnih vrst kerogena nastajajo ogljikovodiki le, \u010de organska snov dose\u017ee dolo\u010dno obmo\u010dje zrelosti (nafta iz kerogenov I in\/ali II v obmo\u010dju Rr vitrinita 0,5\u20131,35, plin pa iz kerogena III v obmo\u010dju Rr vitrinita 0,9\u20133,0), kar merimo z metodo iz prvega odstavka. Merimo pa tudi jakost fluorescence v razli\u010dnih barvah (rumena, oran\u017ena zelena, rjava), ki z zrelostjo organske snovi pada. Metoda odsevnosti vitrinita se nadalje uporablja pri \u0161tudiju tektonsko pogojene termi\u010dne zgodovine sedimentnih bazenov.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0cm\"><span lang=\"SL\" dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Access to equipment of equipment<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0cm\"><span lang=\"SL\" dir=\"ltr\">The equipment is designed for the study of organic matter (coals, kerogen, organic-rich rocks). The spectrophotometer is further used for the determination of fluorescent compounds in organic matter. These components include residues of algae, spores, pollen, cuticles, cork, resins and waxes. They are subordinate in coals and enriched in the organic matter of the source rocks for the formation of hydrocarbons, especially petroleum. We can also measure the fluorescence intensity in different colours (yellow, orange green, brown), which decreases with the maturity of the organic matter. The vitrinite reflectance method is further applied to the study of the tectonically driven thermal history of sedimentary basins.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0cm\"><span lang=\"SL\" dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Equipment rental<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"SL\" dir=\"ltr\">The equipment is intended for use by GeoZS researchers and, by arrangement, by researchers from related institutions who are proficient in optical microscopy.
