The photographs on display take the viewer into the fascinating world of the various types of rocks from the Karst, as they appear under the microscope. The introductory panels present the microscopically small fossils, minerals and environments in which the rocks formed in the geological past.\u00a0<\/p><p>The exhibition is the result of collaboration between Ingrid Urban, Nerea Preta and Bernardo Cesare from the University of Padua, Lorenzo Consorti (CNR-ISMAR Trieste) and Sara Bensi (Geological Survey of Friuli Venezia Giulia). Many of the photographed samples are from the collection of Bogdan Jurkov\u0161ek, held by GeoZS.
