Vacancy for an Independent Professional Associate - Hydrogeology Engineer - Closed
A vacancy for an Independent Professional Associate - Hydrogeological Engineer (DM code H027001) is available in the Groundwater and Hydrogeology OE.
In addition to the general conditions laid down in the labour law regulations, candidates applying for a vacancy in the Groundwater and Hydrogeology unit must fulfil the following conditions:
- at least a specialisation in higher education (previous) or at least a university degree (previous) or at least a master's degree (second Bologna cycle)
Job description:
- Under the direction of the Project Manager, carry out professional tasks in the field of work of the parent OE
- Acquiring, managing and implementing less complex projects
- Preparation of reports, maintenance of records, databases and documentation
- Data collection, compilation and analysis
- Monitoring the development of the field
- Work in the laboratory, in the field and underground if necessary
- Work as directed by the project manager
- Other work as assigned by the Head of Unit or the Director
Priority will be given to applicants:
- with a degree in science or engineering,
- with a category B driving licence,
- knowledge of field engineering work in hydrogeology or hydrogeological field work (hydrogeological mapping, pumping tests or other hydrogeological tests, hydrogeological monitoring of drilling, data collection),
- with the ability to write technical reports, edit and analyse hydrogeological data in Excel,
- knowledge of how to use MS Office computer programmes,
- with basic knowledge of English,
- basic knowledge of spatial data processing tools (ACAD, ArcGIS or QGIS),
- ability to work with off-road equipment (lifting).
The successful candidate will be offered a fixed-term contract for a renewable period of 2 years, with a probationary period of 4 months.
